Program Overview

The Expanded Tertiary Education Equivalency and Accreditation Program (ETEEAP) is a comprehensive educational assessment program at the tertiary level that recognizes, accredits and gives equivalencies to knowledge, skills, attitudes and values gained by individuals from relevant work.

It is implemented through deputized higher education institutions that shall award the appropriate college degree. Beneficiaries must be Filipinos who are at least high school graduates. They must have worked for at least five years in the field or industry related to the academic program they are obtaining an equivalency.

Admission Requirements

Qualifications of Individuals Applying for Equivalency and Accreditation

In order for an applicant to be admitted into the program, s/he must:

  • Have completed secondary school program or have started collegiate level
  • Have been employed for an aggregate of at least five (5) years in the industry related to the degree program being applied for
  • Be at least 25 years old

Basic Requirements

In support of the qualification sought, an applicant must submit the following requirements together with the ETEEAP Application Form (SPUP-ETEEAP Form 001):

  • Authenticated Certificate of Live Birth by the National Statistics Office
  • High School Diploma / Philippine Education Placement Test (PEPT) result stating “qualified to enter first year college”
  • Certificate(s) of Employment(s) with inclusive dates or duration

Documentary Evidences (as applicable)

  • Diploma / Certificate of Completion of Technical / Vocational Course
  • Official Transcript of College Records
  • Certificate(s) of Commendation or Recognition
  • Police Clearance
  • Certificate of Good Moral Character
  • Recommendation Letter(s) from present and previous employer(s)
  • Certificate(s) of Seminar(s), Training(s), Workshop(s) attended
  • Work Accomplishment Reports
  • Published Article(s) / Material(s)
  • Related Photos / Videos
  • All other documents in support of the qualifications needed
